I’m Irene Martinez. I was born in Norfolk, England, and at the age of two, my parents moved to East London. It was there that I began my theatrical training at the age of six the start of my lifelong dream to work in show business.

I trained in a variety of dance styles including tap, ballet, modern ballet, and Spanish dance. I also studied singing and acting. By the age of twelve, I was working professionally in pantomimes, touring every Christmas while continuing my education.

In 1960, I toured Portugal and Spain with two circuses. After marrying, I performed as a singer and compere with my husband’s orchestras, later developing and touring my own variety shows as a specialty dance attraction across Europe and the Middle East. During those years, I had the honor of meeting many statesmen and members of royalty in the countries where we performed.

In the 1980s, while working in Turkey, I began to experience psychic phenomena. At the time, I knew nothing about the paranormal or the concept of psychic sensitivity. The experiences were initially frightening, as I had no understanding of the clairvoyant (clear seeing) and clairaudient (clear hearing) gifts that I now know I possess. Upon returning to England, I visited a well-known college of psychic studies, where I began to understand these abilities though, at the time, I didn’t want them. These so-called gifts opened a portal into a world I had never known, particularly as a Christian.

Following my return from Turkey, my health began to deteriorate. I took on a variety of jobs, including managing shops, running a theatrical agency, and working in stores doing product demonstrations. The 1980s marked a radical shift in my life a period that felt like living in a strange, hellish state that deeply affected my wellbeing.

In the years that followed, I sought spiritual support visiting priests, being confirmed into the Church, and going on pilgrimages. Despite my struggles, I continued to seek help and healing. In 2006, I received the teachings that would become my first book, Trials, Torments & Teachings. It began one sleepless night when the room fell silent and a voice began to speak, delivering teachings I felt compelled to write down. Over time, I came to believe these messages were being delivered through the Holy Spirit. My sensitivity allowed me to translate what I heard into meaningful teachings, eventually leading me to become an author.

From my early years in show business to managing businesses and taking on whatever work life presented, I now believe that God’s hand has always been guiding me even during the darkest storms of life. Though I am not in the best of health today, I look forward to writing more books filled with stories and reflections on the many adventures we all experience throughout our lives.
